Police are appealing for assistance in tracing Robert (Bob) Cochrane (37yrs) who has been reported missing from the Galashiels area since Monday 30th December.
Robert was last seen on Thursday 2nd January 2020, at around 1230 hours, at Edinburgh Waverley train station. He was seen exiting Waverley station onto Princes Street a short time after. Robert’s current whereabouts are unknown and his friends & family are becoming increasingly concerned for him.
Robert is described as being white male, around 5 feet 9 inches tall, slim build, short grey hair. Last seen wearing a green hat, light brown jacket, blue jeans and wearing a rucksack.
Inspector Burns from Galashiels Police station says “Robert has been missing for a number of days now, this is completely out of character for him and his friends are understandably worried about it.
“We have a number of police resources out looking for Robert and I am now looking for the assistance from the public.”
