Cyrenians has partnered with award-winning actor, writer and producer Jamie Robson at Little Wing Film Festival to explore representation and empathy around social issues in film.
The Edinburgh based charity deliver sustainable solutions for the causes and consequences of homelessness. This year they are working with Jamie Robson to highlight the social issues faced by those most excluded from society.
Cyrenians Chief Executive Ewan Aitken said, “Jamie has generously supported us in this venture, helping connect us to likeminded organisations like Little Wing Film Festival, who are passionate about raising awareness of the issues faced by some of the most vulnerable members of our society.
“We are a values-led organisation that works to challenge the causes and consequences of homelessness. Being able to be part of a festival that allows us to face the uncomfortable elements of our society, share our experiences and learn from them is an incredible opportunity.
“We will be hosting a Q&A alongside Jamie at the event based in London on 21st September, following the screening of 7 short films that explore different aspects of feeling ‘other’ in our community.”
