Kick off the new Bake Off season with free workshops from Home Store + More

As Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off gears up for another tense ten weeks in the tent, Home Store + More’s Craigleith store is hosting a series of FREE family friendly Bake Off-style workshops on Saturday 31st August.

Hosted by Joanna Jarvis, founder and cake designer at Heavenly Tiers, the workshops will be held in a special gazebo outside Your Quality Homeware Specialist store in Edinburgh’s Craigleith Retail Park from 10am – 4pm.

Visitors are invited to choose from four different workshops. Booking in advance is recommended via our Eventbrite page to avoid disappointment:

  • 10am – 11.15am Creating a buttercream Unicorn cake
  • 11.30am – 12.45 Cake decoration for fathers and children
  • 1.15pm-2.30pm Decorating children’s fondant celebration cakes
  • 2.45pm – 4.00pm Icing the best biscuits

Rachael Neill, store manager at Home Store + More’s Craigleith store, Edinburgh, said: “We’re huge Bake Off fans in the store so to celebrate the start of the new series, we’re inviting budding bakers of all ages to join us in our special Bake Off gazebo.

“Hosted by Joanna Jarvis of Heavenly Tiers, each workshop will be packed with top tips and ideas, from icing biscuits to creating the perfect unicorn cake.
