Keith Anderson, Chief Executive of Port of Leith Housing Association, has announced his intention to retire after 11 years leading the organisation.
Keith said: “Having worked at Port of Leith Housing Association for over a decade, and in housing in various roles in Scotland and England for the past 40 years, there is much for me to feel proud of. I feel very fortunate to have enjoyed such a rewarding career.
“It’s a privilege to come to work every day with skilled and dedicated staff and Board members who are making a lasting impact on people’s lives. Providing and maintaining high-quality, affordable homes, alongside welfare and money advice, and support to find employment and training, all make such a tangible difference to people and the place they live in. It’s an honour to have contributed to this important work.”
Margaret O’Connor, Chairperson of Port of Leith Housing Association, said: “Keith has drawn on his vast experience, skills and effective leadership style to deliver many amazing achievements over the past 11 years.
“His dedication and commitment have earned the organisation great respect and a strong reputation for which the Board is very grateful. Now the process will begin to identify a worthy successor to build on the excellent organisation Keith has shaped.”
Keith will continue in his post until May 2020 to ensure a smooth transition period.
