Edinburgh restaurant chain celebrates charity milestone

Edinburgh restaurant firm Vittoria Group has celebrated a major charity milestone as it commits to raise thousands more in the future.

The Group, which owns several Italian restaurants throughout Edinburgh, has raised £47,000 for local charity Cash for Kids, since it started its fundraising drive in 2011.

Over the last 8 years, the company has taken part in various initiatives to support the charity, which helps young people in the region disadvantaged through poverty or disability.

In the latest drive, young people under 12 years old can eat for £1 on Sundays, if they’re accompanied by a full-price paying adult. The money from the kids menu goes directly to Cash for Kids,  helping to provide vital funds for good causes.

Leandro Crolla, Director at Vittoria Group, said: “Vittoria Group has been a major supporter of Cash for Kids and we’re incredibly grateful for the amazing sum of money they’ve raised to date.

“All of the teams within the company are passionate about Edinburgh and it’s clearly evident from some of the amazing initiatives they’ve embraced. All the donations stay within the region, so they can proud to know that the £47,000 raised by the Group will make a real difference to the lives of young people in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.”
