Volunteers can rock out for free at Retro Festival

LOVE LIVE music? Love the 80s? Then why not volunteer at Let’s Rock retro festival this summer and enjoy the event for free?

By signing up to do a four-hour shift with festival charity partner, Child Bereavement UK, selling wristbands and raffle tickets on the day, you will be able to not only help a great cause, but also enjoy the festival free of charge.

Let’s Rock Scotland will take place at Dalkeith Country Park on June 15th and will include live performances from Kim Wilde, Jason Donovan, Level 42 and many more.

Child Bereavement UK supports families both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, and when a child faces bereavement.

The charity also trains professionals such as doctors, teachers and midwives to help them better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.

Derek Kirkaldy, Regional Fundraising & Communications Manager for the charity said: “Last year we raised over £70,000 at Let’s Rock festivals across the UK and we couldn’t have done this without the support of our wonderful volunteers.

“The atmosphere on the day is brilliant and our volunteers really do enjoy themselves. So if you’re tempted to join us and volunteer to help out on the day, please give us a call and find out how you can get involved.”
