Sunoh Scotland launches search for new presenters

Sunoh Scotland, Scotland’s newest and largest Asian radio network, has launched a search for new presenters. Budding DJs are being invited to the studio on 24th March from 11am to find out more about the station and put their skills to the test!

From the primetime breakfast and drive time shows to afternoon and late evening slots, the station is seeking a range of presenters to broadcast on Sunoh Scotland.

Launched in Edinburgh in July 2018, Sunoh now broadcasts across the whole of central Scotland after being awarded a DAB licence for the area. It is also the first radio station in the UK to broadcast live in Pakistan on a weekly basis.

Commenting on the search, Sharjil Nawed who founded Sunoh said: “Now that we have the DAB licence for central Scotland, we are actively looking for fresh talent to bring our programmes alive. However, rather than poach DJs from rival stations we want to find THE next big things in broadcasting.

“By registering to come along to our open session on 24th March, people will get to meet the team as well as show us their skills behind the mic. We’re really looking forward to the day and here’s hoping we find the next big broadcasting star in Edinburgh!”

To register to attend, people need to visit the Sunoh Scotland website here.
