Lotte Walters, Event Coordinator at the Boardwalk Foundation said: “We can’t wait to see the wall painted again and to invite everyone into the Boardwalk roller rink to try out all the different activities.

“It’s a chance for people in Edinburgh to get a feel for being on wheels. We are very grateful to the lottery for giving us the resources to be able to make our facility accessible, and to support local people into artistic and sporting activities”.

Craig Jiggy, founder of Jiggy Creationz said “This is our first visit to Edinburgh and we can’t wait to skate with everyone.

“We link creative people with roller skating and it sounds like the Boardwalk will be packed with creative people at Rock n Roll the Dock. Come join us for a demo and workshop or get down with us at the roller disco!”

Leith Councillor Karen Doran, Vice Transport Convener, said: “It’s so exciting to see all these groups working together to put on such a jam-packed day of fun events.

“The Council was really pleased to be able to bring everyone together to make the graffiti wall a reality and it’s really going from strength to strength. Saturday’s Rock n Roll The Dock event sounds like it’ll be a blast!”
