Haven Project children and families produce sixth adventure story
A group of children and families worked with Circle Haven Project over the summer holidays to produce their very own adventure story. ‘To the Top of the World and Beyond’ is the latest mini-masterpiece to be produced by Circle families – the sixth in six years!
The latest book, which was made possible with the support of Radio Forth Cash for Kids , was launched at North Edinburgh Arts on Friday. It’s a great wee story featuring many famous local landmarks.
A Circle spokesperson said: “Congratulations to all the children and families on their fabulous new book! It’s been a great adventure with lots of new skills learnt and friends made, Circle staff have enjoyed being there every step of the way.
“Huge thanks to children’s author Mike Nicholson and illustrator Angela Austin for their amazing work in bringing the book to life. Top of the world indeed!”
