Gogarburn Roundabout road rage incident: man charged

Police have arrested and charged a 39-year-old man in connection with a serious assault after officers received a report of a road rage type incident at Gogarburn Roundabout on Thursday 14 June. The man has been released on an undertaking to appear at court at a later date and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

The incident happened between 8am and 8.30am on Thursday 14th June. An altercation took place between a 48-year-old male driver of a red Range Rover Evoke and a man driving a dark-coloured car, during which the Range Rover driver sustained a serious injury to his eye.
