Lewis, a pupil from the Royal Blind School, joined Miles Briggs MSP at Holyrood this week for work experience.
Lewis has carried out a project on his personal experience of Education and Health in Scotland, attended Health Committee, FMQs and also got the chance to meet many politicians, including the UK Minister for Disabled People.
Miles this week signed up to be a Disability Confident employer, which is a scheme that supports employers to attract, recruit, retain and develop disable people.
Miles Briggs, Scottish Conservative Health Spokesman, said: “It’s been really good having Lewis here this week and he’s brought real value to the team.
“Lewis is incredibly knowledgeable on Scottish Politics and is one of the most engaged work experience students that I’ve ever had work for me.
“I wish him the best of luck in his Politics degree at Stirling next year and he is welcome back at Parliament if he wants to come back to do more work experience in the future.”
Lewis said: “I’ve had an absolutely amazing time, it’s been a great experience all round. I’ve also had a chance to meet my idol, Ruth.”
