Bromley High Junior School will perform in Edinburgh on Saturday 21 April as part of their concert tour of Scotland.
They will be giving a free lunchtime concert at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Palmerston Place at 12:00pm. The concert is free of charge and everyone is welcome. It will be a lovely event!
The school is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, which since its foundation in 1872 has been at the forefront of education for girls in England. The school achieves high academics results in all areas but sporting and cultural activities also form an integral part of school life. They particularly strong in the performing arts and major concerts and musicals are put on throughout the year.
The girls who are performing in the choir and orchestra are aged between nine and eleven years. They meet weekly to rehearse and regularly perform in the school and wider community. In previous years the girls have given concerts in France, Belgium and Spain.
