Merchiston Castle school had no less than FIFTEEN players, from Under 16 to full International level, competing in international rugby last weekend – that’s a full rugby union team!
Director of Rugby, Roddy Deans, said: “For a small school this is an incredible achievement. To have fifteen players representing Scotland from U16 through to full international is a real testament to the rugby programme at Merchiston. Our team of coaches were very proud to see so many boys playing international rugby.”
