Data released by Just Eat, a leading global marketplace for online food delivery, revealed that residents of Edinburgh have chosen Verona on Cadzow Place as its top takeaway.

Verona, which has 5.7 stars out of six based on over 400 customer reviews in the last 12 months,  is famous for its wide range of delicious, freshly prepared pizzas, including the classic margherita, sweet Hawaiian, and the spicy veggie pizza. In addition, customers can also order succulent fried chicken, as well as homemade wraps.

Customers have been consistently impressed by the fantastic food and great service from Verona, with recent reviews highlighting that the pizzas are “stone baked to perfection” and that the takeaway is “excellent as always”.

Edinburgh’s top ten list has been compiled based on the total number of customer reviews in the past 12 months and Just Eat’s star rating looks at quality, service and delivery time.

Eight of Edinburgh’s highest rated takeaways on Just Eat have also attained the Just Eat Local Legend badge: Verona, Turkish Carry Out, Mania, Cafe Piccante, Sugar & Spice Grillhouse, Gy Chinese Takeaway, Taste of China, and Sultan Takeaway. This is based on a number of factors, including having loyal customers who reorder time and time again, meaning they’re loved locally, and come highly recommended.
