An Edinburgh Leisure spokesperson said: “Due to the continuing Met Office red alert weather warning, all Edinburgh Leisure venues will remain closed today, (Thursday, 1 March) and we will be aiming for normal operations to commence tomorrow.
“As the yellow warning is due to expire at midnight tonight, we are confident as we can be that there will be travel options for staff and customers alike to get to work in the morning and to our venues.
“However, we advise customers and staff to keep their eyes on Edinburgh Leisure’s social media channels and website where we will post updates.”
