“Members of the public are advised that, despite heavy snow and the adverse weather currently affecting the region, NHS Lothian is doing everything it can to continue to run a normal service.
“As far as possible, we plan to make it ‘business as usual’ for services tomorrow, Thursday 1 March, with Outpatient Clinics and elective surgery currently scheduled to run as normal.
“I would take this opportunity to recognise the dedication and resilience of NHS Lothian teams across our whole system in supporting our ability to continue to provide services. Sincere thanks to all.”
