We are holding a Community Health Gathering at the North Edinburgh Arts Centre on the weekend of the 13/14th May, and wanted to let you know about, and invite you to participate.
About the Event
It will be a weekend of workshops and discussions exploring health and community. We want to create a space where different projects in the Edinburgh area and beyond can come together and share skills and knowledge about fighting the injustices that cause ill health, building community resillience and collectively taking care of each other. The event will be by donation/free for the whole weekend with a solidarity price of £20 for those with means to pay it, and will explore the following themes:
– Radical Health and Herbalism
– Sustainability, Social and Environmental Justice
– Scottish Health and Herbal Heritage
Ways to Be Involved
We would love it if you could join us for some or all of the weekend. If anyone would like to offer a workshop/discussion/ or information stall about your grassroots work or campaigns that are going on that would be wonderful. If you are interested just get in touch.
