A man was treated in hospital after being attacked on Pennywell Gardens early this morning. Police are seeking four men in connection with the incident, which took place at 5.15am.
The 20-year-old was treated for minor injuries at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before being released.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to the Muirhouse area on Sunday after a man was assaulted in the street.
“The incident happened at around 5.15am on Pennywell Gardens and resulted in the 20-year-old sustaining minor injuries. Enquiries are at an early stage, however officers are following a positive line of inquiry in an effort to trace four men who were seen in the area.”
