SFRS launches public consultation
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) wants people throughout the country to share their views and help it continue to deliver an effective emergency service for every community.
A public consultation on the SFRS Strategic Plan 2016-19, which opened on 31 May, is a key milestone in the continued development of the service and will help to ensure it meets the needs of all of Scotland’s communities over the next three years.
During the consultation SFRS will engage directly with key stakeholders across Scotland to hear their thoughts on what its priorities should be.
It has also set-up a dedicated website and anyone can easily take part simply by visiting
www.firescotland.gov.uk/consultations.aspx.
The ten week consultation closes on 9 August and by sharing their views people can help SFRS assess its performance and make sure its strategic objectives are the right ones.
