World premiere announced for An Officer and a Gentleman – The Musical

Jamie Wilson and Curve are delighted to announce the World Premiere of An Officer and a Gentleman – The Musical which will open at Curve, Leicester on 6th April 2018 before playing at theatres across the UK and in Ireland until 15th September 2018. An Officer and a Gentleman – The Musical will be playing at the UK’s largest theatre, the Edinburgh Playhouse, in a six night run from 2 – 7 July 2018. HM The Queen officially opens Queensferry Crossing

Her Majesty The Queen was accompanied by Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon for the official opening of the Queensferry Crossing yesterday. The event marked the culmination of six years work to build the structure, involving more than 15,000 people, at a cost of £1.35 billion – £245 million under the original budget. Edinburgh Leisure staff jump in to support essential swimming lesons

Ten staff from Edinburgh Leisure splashed out on Friday to help raise money to fund essential swimming lessons for children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Edinburgh. The staff took part in Edinburgh Leisure’s first ever major fundraising ’10 x 10 Swim Challenge’, which involves a team of 10 staff, swimming 1km each in all 10 of Edinburgh Leisure’s pools in one day. Scottish SPCA invite you to Animal Week Open Day

The Scottish SPCA is delighted to invite animal lovers in the Edinburgh area to their centre on Mansfield Road, Balerno on Sunday 10th September to celebrate their tenth annual Scottish Animal Week. Scotland’s animal welfare charity will have a number of events on at the centre on the day including £10 microchipping and a raffle, which includes prizes from Petplanet, Calzeat and more!
