Craigroyston Community High School students have produced a website as part of a project on World War One.
Martial Le Gall, Modern Languages teacher at Craigroyston, explained: “The school was successful in obtaining a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to help us develop links with Lycee Voltaire, a secondary school in Paris.
“Together we have been working on commemorating our people’s common History in Loos and Ypres during the First World War.
“Craigroystonheritage, a website created by our students, is the direct result of the £7,000 funding we received from the Heritage Lottery Fund.”
Scottish students researched WWI Heritage in Loos With the help of Lycee Voltaire and also visited Ypres – where so many Scots lives were lost in the bloody battle of Passchendaele – with retired Black Watch Warrant Officer Brian Alexander.
