Community councils asked to discuss EACC’s future role

The Edinburgh Association of Community Councils, the umbrella body set up to support the capital’s 43 community councils, is looking to become more ‘pro-active’.

EACC Secretary David Bewsey has written to the city’s community councils asking for their views on a paper prepared by the organisation’s Vice Chair John Tibbitt.

David Bewsey said: “Our Vice Chairman, John Tibbitt has outlined some proposed actions to move EACC forward and the background behind his suggestions. Read his paper which is attached at the link below.

Community council elections are scheduled to take place in Edinburgh next month.
