Free day out at Drayton Manor Park for emergency services employees

Home to Europe’s only Thomas Land™ where the young and young-at-heart can come nose-to-buffer with the little blue engine and his friends, Drayton Manor Park is hosting a special weekend on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September to offer employees of the Emergency Services a free day out at the award-winning attraction.

To qualify, anyone that works for the Fire and Rescue Service, Police Force, Ambulance Service, HM Prison Service, Air Ambulance or the NHS, simply needs to turn up at the Staffordshire-based theme park on either day, and show their valid employee ID card* at one of the ticket kiosks at the entrance to the park. They will then be granted free entry into the attraction.

William Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Park, comments: “It’s incredibly important to us all at Drayton Manor Park to recognise the huge contribution that the emergency services make to our country, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

“The brave work they do is invaluable in keeping us safe and looked after, which is why we wanted to offer a small token of our appreciation by giving them a free and memorable day out!”

In addition to the 25 rides and attractions in Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Park is also home to a selection of thrill rides including the 54metre drop tower ride, Apocalypse, and stand-up coaster, Shockwave. Not forgetting the sensational 4D Cinema, screening Ice Age: No Time For Nuts, and a 15-acre Zoo where visitors can discover tigers, leopards, monkeys, meerkats, primates, red pandas and more.

For Emergency Services employees wishing to bring family members along, it’s better to book in advance. The attraction is currently running a 4 for £80 ticket that must be pre-booked online** at www.draytonmanor.co.uk/tickets-and-prices/four-for-80 or by calling 0844 472 1960***.
