Retailer launches Easter programme as it reports increase in demand for seasonal gifts and party decorations
John Lewis reveals Easter celebrations are set to be bigger than ever as the nation embraces the annual spring holiday with bespoke eggs, DIY tea parties adorned with decorative eggs and bunting, and cracking Easter bunny hunts. To get set for an Easter egg-stravaganza, the Edinburgh store has launched a Bunny Bunting workshop and Easter Bunny hunts for kids and adults alike.
Just like its Christmas counterpart, Easter has become a holiday associated with themed parties, seasonal gifting, family fun and a little chocolate indulgence. This year’s extensive egg offering includes the unique and the luxurious; from the Edinburgh Gin’s Easter egg; to Charbonnel et Walker milk chocolate egg with sea salt truffles; and the Artisan du Chocolat extravagant chocolate sculpture.
As well as filling its seasonal department with spectacular Easter-themed products, John Lewis Edinburgh will host a series of fun and creative events for all the family. On Saturday 24 March, there will be a range of activities to keep the family entertained including an Egg-ceptional Easter Bunny Hunt, a Bunny Bunting crafting workshop as well as a fashion show and live music. The Bunny Hunt and Bunting workshops will also run during opening hours on Easter weekend.
