Do the Reindeer Run for Sense Scotland

Don your antlers this December for a fundraising dash which makes a difference. Sense Scotland’s annual Reindeer Run takes place on Sunday, 3 December at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, with all proceeds going to the charity.

Every step in the 5K Reindeer Run and Toddler Dash will help raise vital cash for people with communication support needs, enabling them to have choices in how they live their lives.

Heart Scotland will be there on the day. The Heart Angels will work their face-painting magic on participants and cheer them along after Drivetime presenter Paul Harper kicks off the race at 10.30am at the Palace of Arts football park

The charity is urging people to dig out their best festive get up, whether that be Rudolf, Santa, an elf or even a Christmas tree, with prizes for the best dressed.

Andy Kerr, Chief Executive of Sense Scotland, said“The Reindeer Run 5K and Toddler Dash has become a staple event in our diary with runners returning year on year.

“The funds they raise will help us provide services which have a massive, positive impact on the lives of the people Sense Scotland supports. This festive event has something for everyone, so get a group of friends, family or colleagues together and kickstart your Christmas celebrations.”

Entry costs £10 for an adult and £5 for a child. To find out more or to register see www.sensescotland.org.uk.
