Lothian MSP Miles Briggs has agreed to become a Hepatitis C Parliamentary Champion.
He has committed to working with the Hepatitis C Trust and other Parliamentary Champions to make Scotland Hepatitis C free. A “blueprint for elimination” report will be launched in the Scottish Parliament in January, setting out practical steps to eliminate Hepatitis C in Scotland.
Miles Briggs, Scottish Unionist and Conservative MSP (above) said: “I am very pleased to champion the Hepatitis C Trust in the Scottish Parliament and work with them to eliminate Hepatitis C in Scotland.”
