Changeworks are organising a free afternoon of family-friendly fun and games in the Granton Medway BMX track on Saturday 18th March from 2 until 6pm to celebrate the champion work of the residents increasing their recycling and keeping the street clean and tidy.
The event is open to Granton Medway residents and the wider North Edinburgh community is welcome too! Free food, drinks and activities for all the family – we hope to see you there, rain or shine!
Activities will include:
- Pedal powering a tasty smoothie on our smoothie bike

- Making a wildflower seed bomb and planting it in the shared green space (4pm)
- Bringing a dish to share in our community potluck (4-6pm)

- Making a grass caterpillar out of old tights
- Making new from old: create headbands, jewellery, bags and bunting from preloved clothes
- Helping create an upcycled planter
