A year of activities to highlight the role of dads
A national campaign to celebrate the importance of dads in the life of their kids gets underway today with the launch of Year of the Dad at Edinburgh Zoo this morning.
Described as ‘a year of activity focuses on embracing the potential of fathers and father figures, promoting their importance in child development and supporting them to be the dads they want to be’, Year of the Dad launches at Edinburgh Zoo Education Centre from 10.30 – 2.30pm today.
