We’re delighted and honoured to have been awarded the Shining Star Award at the inaugural Great British Theatre Awards!
This award recognises the Trust’s contribution to saving a theatre building for the community, and it represents a special moment to celebrate everyone who has played a part in protecting and supporting Leith Theatre over the years. Your determination and perseverance mean everything.
We have come a remarkable distance, and we’re now at a pivotal point in our journey as we sail ahead.
But we still have a future to secure. There’s important work to do and further funding needed before we can realise our ambitions for the building.
While Lynn and Anna were collecting the award in London, the show goes on back at the venue, with contractors on site and essential surveys underway – what better way to illustrate the journey we’re on!
Thank you Theatres Trust and everyone who continues to support Leith Theatre
