Thursday 28 November
9:30am-12pm, Quaker Meeting House
EVOC are hosting a workshop to explore the best way for the voluntary sector’s voice to be heard in local community planning from 2020.
Voluntary Sector Forums (VSFs) currently meet quarterly across Edinburgh localities, the meetings should be informative and inclusive, providing an opportunity for the third sector to come together and share their experiences, but also, as the VSF chairs represent third sector interests at the Locality Community Planning Partnership (LCPP) meetings, the VSFs are an important channel for their voice in local planning.
With the ever-changing local community planning landscape across the city we felt it was now time to revisit the goals and format of the VSFs, we want to discuss if there is a need for VSFs and if so how can they be improved? How do VSFs fit with Neighbourhood Networks and do we need representation from both?
Please come along for the morning and share your views and take part in the discussion!
