FAREWELL SERVICE: Sunday 23rd June at 1pm
The Royal Hospital for Sick Children is moving to its new home at Little France in July.
On 23 June there will be a Farewell Service to commemorate the move. This is an opportunity for anyone with an emotional connection to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, The Sick Kids, to come and mark the move from its current home to the new building. In particular, we invite those families who wish to remember a loved one no longer here. We encourage the attendance of those whose children’s lives have been impacted by illness, injury or a long term connection to the hospital. We also invite local residents, staff and volunteers who have played such an important part in the history of this hospital.
The short service will take place in the car park at the front of the hospital on Sciennes Rd. Please come prepared for possible inclement weather, no booking required.
