Still time to cast youth vote in NW Edinburgh

Over £160,000 of funding is being allocated to youth work projects across Edinburgh, and young people have the opportunity to vote for their top three choices on where they think the money should be spent within each local area and on where it should be spent citywide. There’s still time to cast your vote, but HURRY: voting closes this Friday at 6pm!

If you’re aged between 11 and 25 and live in Edinburgh, now is the time to get involved in making important decisions that will decide where funding is allocated!
The money has been split five ways to cover each of the four localities in Edinburgh and an amount for those projects which are for young people from all over the city. The localities are:

  • North West
  • North East
  • South East
  • South West
  • There is also a  separate vote for city wide projects

Within each locality, a number of organisations have made applications for funding to enable their youth work project to run. Each young Scot, will be able to vote for three projects they think will most benefit their locality.  You can also vote for three citywide projects.

Voting opened on Monday 5 March at 9am and will close this Friday (16 March) at 6pm.
