Edinburgh College is inviting prospective students looking to further their education, boost their skills or undertake professional development in the new year to attend its campus open days this December. The open days on 7, 12 and 14 December will provide guests with an opportunity to speak to teaching staff about the courses on offer at the college and discover the best study options available to them.
With 19,000 students, the college is one of the UK’s largest and offers full-time, part-time, and evening courses across four curriculum areas: Engineering and Built Environment; Creative Industries; Tourism, Hospitality and Business; and Health, Wellbeing and Social Science.
The college will welcome anyone interested in studying a course starting in January 2018 and will advise on entry requirements and how to apply. Guests will also be able to find out information on the wide range of courses starting in August 2018.
Attendees will be invited to take a tour of campuses, including classrooms, libraries and social areas, to give an idea of what it’s like to be a student at Edinburgh College. They will also get to tour the college’s professional-standard facilities, which include the Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS) Theatre, hairdressing and beauty salons, restaurants, construction and automotive workshops and sports halls.
Staff from the college’s Student Support, Funding and Guidance teams will also be there to give advice on the support and funding options available to new students.

We have courses to suit everyone, from school leavers, to people wanting to improve their job prospects, boost their qualifications or learn new skills in 2018.”

7 December 2017 – Granton Campus
12 December 2017 – Milton Road Campus
14 December 2017 – Sighthill Campus
