Granton and District Community Council have produced their first newsletter. CC secretary Mizan Rahman launched the four-page edition at Monday’s monthly meeting in Royston Wardieburn Community Centre and he is now looking for feedback on the new publication.
Mizan said: “We are delighted to announce that, we’ve launched our first edition of the GDCC Community Newsletter at the meeting. You can read this online: https://gdccsite.files.wordpress.com/2017/11/newsletter-gdcc-nov-2017.pdf .
“Please note, this is an experimental edition. We are seeking your feedback to make further improvements. Could you please let us know: what other information should go there? Comments about layout, size and format? We are very much looking forward to hear your views.”
Monday’s well-attended meeting featured a presentation on Community Participation in the Planning System by Planning Democracy’s Clare Symonds, and Granton:Hub’s Katie Quinn gave an update on activities down at Madelvic House.
