The Scottish SPCA has announced a new partnership with McClure Solicitors in Edinburgh that will provide a free Will writing service to supporters of the charity. Scotland’s animal welfare charity has partnered with McClure who, in 2016, raised a total of £15 million for charities through donations, Gift Aid and legacies.
Scottish SPCA Chief Executive Kirsteen Campbell said, “We are delighted to partner with an organisation as established as McClure.
“Our supporters will benefit from this new relationship by receiving the Will writing service entirely free of charge. McClure have also offered a free Will review service and half price Power of Attorney.
“All they ask in return, is that those benefiting from their generous offer consider making a donation or leaving a gift in their Will to the Scottish SPCA.
“We are delighted to be working alongside McClure and are pleased that this new relationship also offers fantastic benefits to our supporters who really are at the core of what we do.”
Stewart Moore, Director at McClure Solicitors, added “We are delighted to partner with the Scottish SPCA. Many of our existing clients already support this essential charity, so it makes sense to offer our Estate Planning Legal Services to supporters of the charity. Everyone benefits – the supporters get the Will or Will Review they need while the Scottish SPCA gets much needed funds”
