Stockbridge Parish Church is to open a shopfront community space on Raeburn Place.
Alex Johnson, Community and Outreach Worker for Stockbridge Parish Church, explained: “Stockbridge church has invested in a shopfront on Raeburn place in Stockbridge with the express purpose of providing a community space for different charity or community projects to use. We’re calling it ‘Number 7’.
“We are hoping to make a busy timetable of community events through the week, some of which will be church initiatives but we also hope that good community ideas from the whole area will find a home with us.
Our official opening will take place from 2-5pm on Saturday 27th May and I we are really looking forward to welcoming the local community”.
