The name game

Can you think of a better name for new health facility?
Construction of the North West Edinburgh Partnership Centre in Muirhouse is well underway and the new facility is due to open by Spring next year. While the work continues, however, NHS Lothian has something else to consider – a name for the new building.

North West Edinburgh Partnership Centre has been a working title since the project was first discussed, but the name doesn’t exactly trip off the tongue and planners are seeking the public’s help in naming the building. Local schoolchildren will also be asked for their ideas.
The £12.1 million centre, a joint development between NHS Lothian and the City of Edinburgh Council, will bring increased health and social care services for the local community, including new GP accommodation and additional physiotherapy, podiatry, dentistry and child health services.
Names suggested so far include North West Healthy Living Centre, Pennywell Care Centre, Penny Well Being and ‘Well Centre.
Can you come up with a better one? Let us know your suggestions and we’ll pass them on on.
