North and Leith MP Deirdre Brock has been appointed to sit on Westminster’s Scottish Affairs Committee.
Speaking before last night’s appointment, the local MP said: ““I can’t wait to get stuck into the exciting programme of work on the Scottish Affairs Committee.
“I’m particularly pleased to start my new job with an inquiry into the EU referendum and how we can make sure Scotland’s vote for Remain is respected. There’s much work to be done and I look forward to playing my part.”
