Police Scotland have confirmed that a second man (aged 25) has been arrested following the discharge of a firearm in Cables Wynd, Leith.
The incident occurred at around 11pm in Cables Wynd on Friday 26 August 26 when a 25 year old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg. He was later treated in Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary.
A firearm believed to have been used in the incident was later recovered and a 30-year-old man subsequently arrested and charged. He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 1 September.
The 25-year-old will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
