Edinburgh College is hosting auditions for acting, dance and music courses starting in August and is inviting talented young people to come and show their skills as performers.

Audition dates are scheduled across February, March and April at the college and are open for application online now.

Edinburgh College’s Centre for Creative Industries is home to the Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS), where students get to train in industry-standard performance facilities. The college’s performing arts programmes cover everything from technical theatre to dance and produce industry-ready professionals across the full range of specialisms. Students can train to become performers, producers, teachers and technicians.

PASS graduates include Dr Who and Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan and dancer Pamela Jean Smith, who has worked on both sides of the Atlantic with top international music artists including Lady Gaga, Usher and Cheryl Cole.

And PASS’s patron is Oscar winner Emma Thompson!
