Cyclist in hospital following Pennywell Road collision

A cyclist is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a bus on Pennywell Road last night.

The incident happened at 5.15pm and the man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary before later being transferred to the Western General Hospital.
