Update from our first events with Historic Environment Scotland (HES) this October:
Friends Group members and supporters have begun working with support from the Scotland’s Urban Past team, to investigate and share the story of the ‘secret’ garden (writes Kirsty Sutherland).
As you all probably know ‘planning issues’ are still ongoing with Edinburgh City Council and developers Waterfront Edinburgh Limited about the future of the walled garden. The interest from HES and other organisations is crucial at this time in helping us persuade planners that this rare garden deserves to be safeguarded and restored.
Please help raise awareness by sharing the above link in any way you can, Facebook, tweets etc all help in this era to focus attention on an issue.
