Clean sweep for Forthview in Firework poster competition
Throughout October the #StrongerNorth partnership has been running a poster competition in the local primary schools.
Young people were given a short presentation about fireworks and the role of the fire service relating to fireworks and bonfires and were then asked to design an eye-catching but informative poster about the ‘Dangers of playing with fireworks.’
The winning posters were printed and will be displayed in local places and spaces, with the young people involved winning prizes and a visit to the Fire station for their whole class.
