From Ice Cream Ale to Flying Pandas: Stewart Brewing announce collaboration brews

Stewart Brewing – who play host to the Edinburgh Beer Festival on Saturday 13 May – has announced several limited-edition collaboration beers that will be available at the festival this year, including an ice cream style ale with Over Langshaw Farmhouse Ice Cream and a kiwi hopped double IPA in partnership with local brewer Cross Borders. With less than two weeks to go until the return of Beltane Fire Festival, organisers have released details about their family-friendly Beltane Community Open Day, part of Tradfest’s 12 day celebration of traditional arts.

NORTH EDINBURGH ARTS

The Time Bank Knit and Natter group have made adorable little Easter characters and they are hiding in the NEA garden! Can you find Bert and his friends to win an Easter egg prize?

A family-friendly event suitable for all ages. With additional activities in the garden or inside NEA (wet weather provision).

There will be lots of cakes and tea/coffee/juice for you to enjoy while those who want to can go searching in the garden!

50p donation goes towards the costs of the refreshments.

World Heritage Day celebrations set to kick off at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Visitors to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow will have the opportunity to be transported to the heart of Scotland’s World Heritage Sites as part of a special event to mark World Heritage Day. Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum will host a full day of free activities on Tuesday 11 April to celebrate Scotland’s rich heritage, in the run up to World Heritage Day on 18 April.
