Ghosts of Christmas Past: Spooky goings-on at Edinburgh College

Edinburgh College Events Management students are holding an exhibition focusing on the paranormal history of Edinburgh . tomorrow. The free exhibition – ‘The E Files’ – will tell spooky stories about the city’s supernatural and terror-filled past.

It takes place at the college’s Granton Campus – in the Red Learning Street – tomorrow (Thursday 14 December) from 10am until 12pm.

The digital exhibition, which includes moving images, music and short clips, will feature tales from Burke and Hare, Mary King’s Close and more. There will also be word searches and interactive quizzes to try throughout the exhibition.

Events Management lecturer Sarah Macfarlane said: “The students have worked really hard on this exhibition and I am excited to see their plans come together. Edinburgh has a long history of gruesome skulduggery and hauntings, so this is a chance for anyone with an interest in the mysteries of the unknown to learn about the city’s ghostly past.”
