Boogie in the Morning: breaking records!

Forth 1 breakfast show ‘Boogie In The Morning’ is celebrating after the latest RAJAR figures reveal that the popular show has achieved a record breaking reach. The show – from 6am to 10am on weekdays – has a commanding lead at breakfast with over 275,000 listeners and an audience share of 20.7%.

It is a hat-trick of success for the station as Forth 1 has achieved the highest reach in 17 years and retained its position as the commercial number 1 station in reach and share. Radio Forth – Forth 1 & 2 combined – has also underlined its prominence in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife with its highest reach in 14 years.

  • Record breaker – It’s the highest ever reach for Boogie In The Morning at 275,000 up 50,000 from 225,000!
  • Boogie In The Morning is the market leader across all radio in reach and in share – share of 20.7%, an increase of 1.9% quarter on quarter  
  • Forth 1 has its highest reach in 17 years! 380,000 up 46,000 (Q on Q) and up 13.8% (highest since W3 2000)
  • Forth 1 is commercial number 1 in the market place (reach & share) across all shows 6am to 10pm.
  • Total Radio Forth (Forth 1 and Forth 2 combined) reach of 405,000 is the highest reach in 14 years since a reach of 411,000 (W1, 2003)
