Police appeal following Corstorphine assault and robbery

Police are appealing for help to trace four males involved in the theft of a grey bicycle in Corstorphine. The incident took place on Monday at around 3.40pm in the Glasgow Road/Gyle Park area.

A man was the victim of a serious assault during the incident. A second bike was also taken but was abandoned nearby.

The first suspect is described as being dressed in all black, wearing a white helmet and riding a dark-coloured mountain bike.

The second suspect is described as being dressed in all black and wearing a white/grey backpack.

The third suspect is described as wearing a black top with white stripes, grey joggers, a large black rucksack with a white emblem on the back (possibly Adidas) and riding a large mountain bike with a large rear mud guard.

The fourth suspect was wearing a black top and grey joggers, a backpack and riding a mountain bike.

Enquiries are currently ongoing and local police urge members of the public who may have seen the males or the bike to get in touch.
