Thousands of people may have been unsuccessful in the new Queensberry Crossing Experience ballot, but Barnardo’s Scotland is offering an equally exclusive experience promising spectacular views of all three bridges and beyond.

For a special ‘early bird’ price of just £25 per person*, adults from all walks of life will have the chance to ascend to the top of the Forth Rail Bridge on 23rd September 2017 to experience the Forth Rail Bridge Your View.

Thanks to partners Balfour Beatty and Network Rail, the viewing platform of the iconic Rail Bridge – not normally open to the public – will be open for one day only.

Kathleen O’Malley, Social Performance Specialist at Network Rail said: “Network Rail is committed to improving the lives of communities surrounding the railway, that is why our employees have chosen to support Barnardo’s as our Charity of Choice. We are delighted to donate this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the breath-taking views from the top of the 360ft-high Forth Rail Bridge to support the charity’s drive to raise funds for their worthy cause.”

All proceeds from ‘Your View will go to Barnardo’s Scotland and support the vital work the children’s charity does throughout the country.

Events Manager for the charity, Kara Gillies, said: “We are very excited to be offering this exclusive experience! The views from the top are simply sensational and very special to witness. We are extremely grateful to Network Rail and Balfour Beatty for making this happen.”

There are approximately 300 spaces available with groups allocated half hour slots. Registration will be first come first served by going to www.barnardos.org.uk/forthbridge or calling 0131 446 7019.

* The ‘Early Bird’ offer is valid until midnight on 6th August.  Thereafter the price will be £35 per person.
