£52 million spent to mitigate effects of Westminster’s Bedroom Tax

Over the past year almost 113,000 awards  have been made under the Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP) scheme, with a total value of £51.9 million, according to the latest figures released by the Scottish Government. Local authorities paid out the money during the period 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017, with an average payment of £460. Loganair’s Edinburgh – Isle of Man service takes off

The first air service between Edinburgh and the Isle of Man since 2013 has taken to the skies, operated by Scotland’s Airline, Loganair. The route reinstates an air link with the Isle of Man from Scotland’s capital, with Loganair scheduling up to four flights each week throughout the summer. Drop-inThe last in our block of four FIX IT sessions takes place this Saturday between 10.30am – 12noon.

Come along and learn how to look after your garden tools to make them last longer. We’ll be showing you some basic tool repairs too.
