New service for small businesses launches in Goldenacre

Local businessman Alan Johnston has launched a new business, TaxAssist Accountants, offering a dedicated service to support small businesses in Goldenacre.

After many years working within the small business community and 18 months working at TaxAssist Accountants in Corstorphine, Alan recognised a need in Goldenacre for dedicated small business services.

“Having spoken to the small business community in Goldenacre, I realised there was a real need for jargon-free advice specifically targeted to their needs and so had the idea of launching TaxAssist Accountants to support them,” said Alan. “Goldenacre is a vibrant and exciting suburb with a thriving small business community so I’m delighted to finally be open here.”

Opening TaxAssist Accountants on Montagu Terrace, Alan has taken on one full-time qualified accountant and plans to recruit further as the practice grows. He is also planning an official opening event later this year.

TaxAssist Accountants Goldenacre, which specialises in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings and tax advice to small businesses, opened in November last year.
